Chancellor

The current Chancellor of Universiti Utara Malaysia is His Royal Highness Sultan Sallehuddin ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah.

History and Progress

Established in 1984, UUM is located in Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia. It was originally known as the School of Management, Universiti Utara Malaysia (PUSM). In 1986, PUSM was upgraded and renamed as Universiti Utara Malaysia. Over the years, UUM has grown significantly and gained recognition both nationally and internationally for its academic excellence, research contributions, and management expertise.

UUM is proud of its status as a Premier Management University, focusing on courses related to management, business, accounting, finance, economics, information technology, leadership, and public administration.
