Chancellor
The Chancellor of UCNH is Professor Marie Jeanne Smith. With her extensive experience in higher education and her commitment to Christian values, Professor Smith is dedicated to leading the university towards continued success and excellence.
History
UCNH was founded in 1986 with the aim of providing accessible higher education to students in the northern region of Haiti. Over the years, the university has grown both in terms of student enrollment and academic offerings.

UCNH has made significant progress in its pursuit of excellence. With state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated faculty members, and a diverse range of academic programs, UCNH continues to attract talented students and produce graduates who are well-equipped for their professional careers.

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science – cost: $1700 per year
- Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education – cost: $1200 per year
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing – cost: $1800 per year
- Bachelor of Arts in Psychology – cost: $1400 per year
