Chancellor

The current Chancellor of Mulungushi University is Professor Grace Njapau. As the head of our institution, Professor Njapau plays a vital role in guiding our university towards achieving its goals and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

History

Mulungushi University was established in 2008 as a public university by an Act of Parliament. However, its origins can be traced back to the Mulungushi Rock of Authority, which played a significant role in the struggle for Zambia's independence.

Named after the Mulungushi River, which runs near the university, Mulungushi University was founded with the aim of providing access to quality higher education and contributing to the development of the nation.

Current Progress

Since its establishment, Mulungushi University has made significant strides in achieving its objectives. We have expanded our academic programs, invested in state-of-the-art facilities, and recruited esteemed faculty members who are passionate about teaching and research.
